When C-VILLE spoke to J.R. Reynolds in March, he mentioned that he’d like to travel outside of the U.S. and live in another country. "I want to just go tour and talk to people and see what it’s like," said Reynolds, who at the time was finishing up a stellar basketball career at UVA, racking up 1,683 points during four years playing shooting and point guard.

It looks like Reynolds is getting his wish. The Roanoke Times reported last week that Reynolds will play basketball in the Italian League for Vanoli Soresina, located in Cremora, Italy.
Reynolds hoped to be the first Cavalier drafted in the NBA since Roger Mason, Jr. in 2002, but despite some predictions that he would go late in the second round, he was left a free agent. He also didn’t play during the NBA Summer League. "We didn’t have a concrete team willing to extend him a lot of time," his agent, Stu Lash, told The Roanoke Times. Lash said Reynolds could expect to make $100,000 for the season.
