Slade Allen Woodson, 19, has been sentenced to two years in jail in Waynesboro Circuit Court for six felony counts in connection with the I-64 shootings in March of this year, reports the News Virginian in Waynesboro.
In July, Woodson pleaded guilty of two counts of shooting into an occupied residence, three counts of maliciously shooting from a vehicle and one count of destruction of property.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Woodson said.
According to a Media General article, Woodson still has 15 related felony counts pending in Albemarle.
Brandon Dawson, 16, pleaded guilty to related charges in an Albemarle County court back in May. He is also charged in the two Waynesboro shootings, but the case is still in the Waynesboro Juvenile and Domestic Relations court.
Woodson and Brandon Dawson began shooting into cars in Albemarle in the early morning of March 27. Two motorists were slightly injured.
