“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”
Tuesday 9pm, Bravo

Let’s go back to the summer of 2003, a simpler time when five gay guys on a manscaping mission captivated a pop culture nation. Four years later, the “Queer Eye” journey comes to a close with 10 new episodes starting tonight. The Fab Five have had a good run, making household names out of almost all of its members and arguably being responsible for making Bravo the major cable player it is today. As part of the send-off, tonight’s 100th episode features a “Straight Guy” pageant in which past “Queer Eye”’d gents face off for the title of ultimate breeder. Or something. Hosting the whole thing? Susan Lucci. And just like that, Carson lost his crown as gayest thing on the screen.

“Drawn Together”
Thursday 10:30pm, Comedy Central

There are lots of crude cartoons on the tube nowadays, but I can’t think of one more gloriously perverted than “Drawn Together.” Essentially a parody of “The Surreal Life,” the show features a collection of disparate cartoon characters living together in a lavish mansion. You’ve got the bitchy Disney-esque princess, the gay manga elf, the desperate Betty Boop type, and the filthy Porky Pig rip-off. Like the best Comedy Central shows (“South Park,” “The Sarah Silverman Program”) absolutely nothing is sacred—sexual abuse, the mentally retarded, drunk driving, you name it, it’s probably been the butt of some inappropriate gag and likely covered with vomit. You’ll probably feel dirty after watching it, but you’ll have a good time getting there.

“Dexter”
Sunday 9pm, Showtime

It’s a good time to be a former cast member of “Six Feet Under.” Peter Krause is back with “Dirty Sexy Money,” Rachel Griffiths is on the hit “Brothers & Sisters,” Lauren Ambrose is in Fox’s mid-season Parker Posey comedy, and Michael C. Hall is back as Dexter, America’s most affable psychopath. Dexter is one of the most fascinating characters currently on TV. He’s a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department who dishes out his own brand of vigilante justice at night—he’s a serial killer who hunts other killers. Pretty cool concept, and Hall makes it all work with a sublime performance. Season 2 started last week, but it’s never too late to catch up.
