Get involved, for the love of Christ!

Yeah, yeah. We know. It’s the holiday season, and you’re busy shopping and wrapping presents and volunteering at churches and handing out candy canes at nursing homes and/or defending your contrarian views on public Nativity displays at awkward work parties. In other words, Santa Claus is comin’ to town, and you ain’t got no time for local government.

But, lo, how the rose of democracy e‘er still blooming. Soon, the holidays shall be just a glimmer, and our local area will still be in need of some serious citizen commentary. Here, some public meetings to fill out that brand new 2007 day planner.—with reporting by Andy Johnson
