Gawker has done it again. The gossip and news blog renowned for its exclusive content and, at times, devastating exposes (we’re looking at you former New York Congressman Chris Lee) has this time let Thomas Jefferson’s hallowed university embarrass itself.
Among the many themed drink-a-thons thrown by UVA Law’s Feb Club throughout the month of February, one is forever documented by pictures of students playing beer pong on tables done up as Confederate flags.
Though the Feb Club blog was taken down, the Google cache (via Gawker) remains for posterity.
Is this just the latest instance of recurring racism among UVA students? Remember those students who got dressed up in black face? Why does this keep happening?
