Questions posed by Pavement over the years:
- "What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so high? I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy?"
- "Is it a crisis or a boring change?"
- "School’s out. What did you expect?"
And one more: Will the critically acclaimed rock act, which spent formative years in Charlottesville and was co-founded by UVA grad Stephen Malkmus, reunite? All of a sudden, everyone and their Pitchfork thinks so.
I’d like to encourage some discussion below. In a decade that’s brought reunions by the Pixies and My Bloody Valentine, but still hasn’t seen Morrissey and Marr make nice, what’s your take on a possible Pavement reunion? Better, where do they sit on your list of (one-time) Charlottesville-based bands to make it big?
You know who I’d like to hear from on that last question? I bet you do.
Leave anything and everything below, summer babes. Right after the video:
Pavement reunion? Oh my God, oh your God, oh his God, oh her God…
