Charlottesville Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at the Kmart located on Hydraulic Road. According to Fire Chief Charles Werner, the fire may have started from wooden pallets located adjacent to the building. Smoke worked its way into the store, and fire department crews evacuated employees and customers. Werner says that there are no reported injuries at this time.
