Feedback Session: The Hilarious Posters

Plenty to look at in this week’s paper. This week’s Feedback column is about multimedia artist Rosamond Casey’s work Mapping the Dark. The 8-year-old installation spawned a limited-edition book box, an art class and, now, a play directed by Fran Smith that opens next week at Live Arts. Former Feedback John Ruscher writes about the excellent and interesting new Old Calf album. And we check in with longtime local choreographer Miki Liszt.

For the most recent Feedback Session, we checked in with the power pop five piece The Hilarious Posters, who deliver erratic tunes at breakneck speeds with unbridled enthusiasm, all while keeping up one of the best band blogs in town. The Posters are working on a new disc that’s supposed to be out in April. Stay tuned for more.
