The Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional Airport (CHO) will soon offer updated service to its Detroit-bound customers.
According to Jason Burch of CHO, Delta will have an upgraded flight to Detroit: the 34-seat propeller plane will be replaced by a more efficient 50-seat jet, “much like the one that flies to Atlanta,” says Burch.
Delta will be taking over the route as a result of the recent merger with Northwest.
The service will begin on May 1. “This is significant, considering Delta is reducing capacity,” says Burch. And there is more. Delta is adding a third daily flight to Atlanta.
