At last night’s meeting, the Charlottesville City Council appointed John Santoski of Sunset Road and Kurt Keesecker of Spruce Street to the Planning Commission.
Santoski and Keesecker will replace commissioners Michael Farruggio, who served from October 2005 to August 2009, and Cheri Lewis, who served on the commission from September 2001 to August 2009.
Santoski is a former member of the Charlottesville City School Board. Keesecker is a member of the Albemarle County Housing Committee.
They will begin their terms on September 9.
