Charlottesville’s Building Goodness Foundation (BGF) is monitoring news reports from Haiti after a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the island yesterday.
No foundation volunteers are in Haiti.
According to a news release, an anonymous donor “has issued a $5,000 challenge grant” in support of the House of David Community Health Center in Thomassin, that BGF volunteers helped design and built. The center was dedicated in July 2009.
