Suspects arrested in of both Wachovia and BB&T bank robberies

NBC29 reports that Garland Thomas Carr, 27, has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, being armed with the intent to commit larceny while entering a bank, and four counts of forgery.

Hoos Win Again on the Hardwood 76-55 over Oral Roberts!

Virginia wins again at the John Paul Jones Arena 76-55 against Oral Roberts University. The announced attendance was 8,828, but it looked like to me that there were only about 5 thousand folks there.

Virginia Football Loses in Death Valley to Clemson 34-21

Virginia had a chance in this one, but ultimately did not have enough in the tank to beat a much superior Clemson Tiger team. Tailback C.J. Spiller, and former Fork Union speedster, and wide-out Jacoby Ford were as good as advertised!
