Hotel for Dogs (PG, 100 minutes) A pair of orphans set up a secret home for stray dogs in an abandoned hotel. Based on Lois Duncan’s children’s book, with Don Cheadle and Lisa Kudrow. Playing at Carmike Cinema 6

Inkheart (PG, 106 minutes) Brendan Fraser takes the lead in this kid-friendly fantasy about a girl and her father, who must capture a villain freed from a book. Playing at Regal Seminole Square 4

Last Chance Harvey (PG-13, 92 minutes) While attending his daughter’s wedding, Dustin Hoffman spots a pretty gal (Emma Watson) who just might make him feel smitten again. Playing at Regal Downtown Mall 6

The Uninvited (PG-13, 87 minutes) In co-directors Thomas and Charles Guard’s remake of a Korean thriller from 2003, a young girl (Emily Browning) and her mother’s ghost try to protect her widowed father (David Strathairn) from his questionable new fiancée (Elizabeth Banks). Opening Friday

The Wrestler (R, 115 minutes) Mickey Rourke takes a licking and keeps on ticking in a film about an aging bruiser on the independent wrestling circuit, trying to make peace and still put on a wild show. Playing at Regal Downtown Mall 6
