Gary Williams (known around the ACC as the "Volcano") was in rare, and sweaty form Saturday up in College Park as he received a technical foul. Sene, Farrakhan, and Sammy played superbly!

Both teams are 5-9 in the ACC so far this season, and Sidney Lowe will almost certainly be coaching his last game against Virginia as head coach of the NC State Wolfpack. The game starts at 7.

Hoos Win on Senior Night Over NC State 69-58

Virginia went on a 16-0 run to begin the game, but the Wolfpack battled back as they went on an 11-0 run of their own. Joe Harris led the Hoos with 19 points.

Wahoos shellacked at home by Boston College 63-44

The Hoos were down three at the break, but completely fell apart in the second-half as BC just out hustled and out played the Hoos in every aspect of the game.

Virginia shot 41.7% for the game, and had their lowest turnover total in a game this season (7). Farrakhan led all scorers with 17 points.

It was a very physical game, but the Hoos found a way to come out on top. Harris and Farrakhan played well for the Hoos, and the Hokies really struggled inside till late in the contest.
