It’s not exactly a picture-perfect day for college football, but to me everyday is perfect for any college football! UVA will honor Anthony Poindexter before the game by retiring his jersey.
UVA is leading Indiana 30-0 at Half-time here at Scott Stadium. Sewell is 15-23 for 248 yards with 1 TD. Simpson has 40 yards on 8 carries, and Vic Hall has 69 yards on five receptions. The Hoos are wiping the field with Indiana.
UVA had 29 first down, 305 yards passing, 231 yards rushing and ZERO turn-overs. UVA wins behind Mikell Simpson’s 4 rushing touchdowns. Mikell was taken to the hospital and no update is available on his condition.
Virginia is retiring all-time great Anthony Poindexter’s #3 jersey on Saturday, as the Hoos play host to the Big-10’s Indiana. Firing a coach in-season is not something that gets done here at the University of Virginia. Sometimes it is absolutely necessary, though.

The Hoos got their first win of the 2009 season today against Carolina. The South’s Oldest Rivalry was dominated again today by Virginia. The Hoos have beaten Carolina 10 out of the last 12 times.
