Virginia-Indiana Pre-Game UPDATE 3:30 Kick-Off Scott Stadium

It’s not exactly a picture-perfect day for college football, but to me everyday is perfect for any college football! UVA will honor Anthony Poindexter before the game by retiring his jersey.

UVA-Indiana First-Half Play-By-Play UVA Leads 30-0!!!

UVA is leading Indiana 30-0 at Half-time here at Scott Stadium. Sewell is 15-23 for 248 yards with 1 TD. Simpson has 40 yards on 8 carries, and Vic Hall has 69 yards on five receptions. The Hoos are wiping the field with Indiana.

UVA-Indiana Second-Half Play-By-Play UVA wins 47-7

UVA had 29 first down, 305 yards passing, 231 yards rushing and ZERO turn-overs. UVA wins behind Mikell Simpson’s 4 rushing touchdowns. Mikell was taken to the hospital and no update is available on his condition.

UVA Football Versus Indiana Preview Saturday 10/10/09 3:30 PM Scott Stadium

Virginia is retiring all-time great Anthony Poindexter’s #3 jersey on Saturday, as the Hoos play host to the Big-10’s Indiana. Las Vegas, has the Hoos as a 7 point favorite, and I think Virginia will win 38-30 in a barnburner! What do you readers think? Anthony Poindexter stories are much appreciated in the comments as well!

Virginia (1-0 ACC) (1-3 overall) had a huge win against our real-rival Saturday in Chapel Hill. The only two statistics I care about are wins and loses, and the graduation rate for the football team.

Virginia Beats Carolina 16-3 in Chapel Hill!

The Hoos got their first win of the 2009 season today against Carolina. The South’s Oldest Rivalry was dominated again today by Virginia. The Hoos have beaten Carolina 10 out of the last 12 times.
