Hoos Handle the Keydets 48-7 at Scorching Scott Stadium
Virginia did not look perfect, but dispatched VMI easily as they won 48-7. Kris Burd was the man for the Wahoos. Up next: Florida State. Go Hoos!

Look for the Wahoos to run all over the rebuilding Keydets. Keith Payne, Perry Jones, and Raynard Horne will be tired come Saturday evening.
Wallace had not played much this season, and he has decided to remain at Virginia and pursue his degree, but he will no longer play football in college.
Tony Bennett has been working hard during the offseason. Go Hoos! Perfect timing (with the off-week for Virginia Football) for a little hoops nugget.
The Wahoos had a shot at winning the game, but two missed Robert Randolph field goals, and an endzone interception thrown by Marc Verica were too much to overcome for Virginia. The Hokies lost to James Madison in Blacksburg, though.
The Wahoos played with a great deal of heart, but came up just short in Los Angeles against the mighty USC Trojans. A couple of missed field goals, a botched call or two, a Verica mistake on a ball thrown in the endzone that resulted in an interception instead of six for the Hoos…I love Mike London’s coaching moxie, though!
Virginia is 20-point underdog to the powerful #13 AP ranked USC Trojans. Can the Hoos pull off the monumental upset? Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m EST in Los Angeles.
Keith Payne wrecked the Richmond defense on his way to a 4TD day as the Hoos looked sharp. Virginia had lost 4 in a row openers.
Kickoff is set for 6:00 Saturday at Scott Stadium. The Mike London era is here! Go Hoos!! Radio 97.5 FM, AM 1070, TV ESPN-3.
The Mike London era got off on the right foot this evening in Charlottesville behind the play of seniors Keith Payne and Marc Verica.
