By the end of October, Charlottesville City Council should have appointed four individuals to fill out the seven-member planning commission (one current commissioner is applying for reappointment). The commission, which advises Council on development decisions, meets the second Tuesday of each month to discuss matters ranging from designating zones for public and private development.
