Bill Kittrell, Director of Conservation Programs for the Virginia Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, has been appointed to the board of the Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA), to represent the While Hall District. Kittrell replaces John Martin, who resigned from the ACSA board following City Council’s decision to amend the 2006 water supply plan.
In other county personnel news, Bob Crickenberger is the new Director of the Parks and Recreation department, effective January 1. He succeeds
, who served as director for 29 years. Crickenberger has worked for the department since 1974, and served as deputy director since 1990.
