The annual Big-10/ACC hoops schedule is out and Virginia will play Minnesota. Virginia will travel to Minneapolis for a Monday night game on November 29th.
The ACC has won every one of the Challenges except for last season. Virginia is 5-5 all-time in the Challenge, and Minnesota is 4-7 all-time. There is a difference of one game between the two in total games played in this tournament because of the wet floor cancelled debacle in Richmond in 2001.
The Golden Gophers finished the 2009-10 season 21-14 and made it to the NCAA Tournament. UVA was 15-16 in 2009-10.
