Former Cavalier makes his second Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers are on their way to their second Super Bowl in the past three years. And what’s it have to do with Charlottesville? No. 83 of course: 6’5" tight end Heath Miller, who made a name for himself playing for Al Groh at UVA. Miller had three receptions for 62 yards, second only to wide receiver Santonio Holmes, in Pittsburgh’s 23-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens. For the year, Miller scored three touchdowns and had 514 yards receiving. The Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl on February 1 in Tampa, Florida. Regardless of the outcome, a former Hoo will win a championship ring: Elton Brown is a back-up offensive tackle for the Cards, though rabid Cavalier fans should cheer for Pittsburgh, since UVA grad James Farrior, a linebacker, also starts for the Steelers.
