Best of times: “When you help people that need your assistance, to troubleshoot their problems or do some research and uncover some issues that are in their benefit.”

Worst of times: Working with state tax code. “The more frustrating time for me is when I’m bound by state tax code to administer the code in one way, which kind of takes the human interaction out of it, the ability to respond to someone outside of just a black and white answer.”

Strangest moment on the job: The day two different armored cars showed up to collect deposit. “One of the armored cars was supposed to go to the city, pick up their deposit. Instead they showed up here, and they both showed up, who knew, at the exact same time to pick up our deposit. Everybody was kind of looking at each other wondering, ‘Who gets the money?’ Fortunately we had security measures in place so we knew exactly who our person was.”

If he were a superhero, he’d be: Superman. “The ability to fly. That would be pretty interesting to leap from one place to another.”
