Trump Winery: Same vines, same crew, new buildings

Months after the Trump family purchased a foreclosed Kluge Estate Winery & Vineyard for $6.2 million, Washington Post wine columnist Dave McIntyre visited to see where the rest of the family funds were being used. According to McIntyre, the winemaking talents—from Gregory Brun to consultants like Michel Rolland and Laurent Champs—remain the same. Eric Trump, who manages the rechristened Trump Winery, told McIntyre that the same vines remain in place.

However, the younger Trump told C-VILLE previously that there may be more acres under the vine in the not-too-distant future. McIntyre also noted Trump’s plans to make the site a more popular wedding destination. Read more here.
