Oliver Kuttner’s X-Prize winning car is shining in the Water Street parking lot this morning. When we stopped by for a look, 27 minutes remained on the parking meter where the car was parked.
The four-seater brainchild of Charlottesville developer Kuttner, founder of the Edison2 design team, recently won $5 million in the Automotive X Prize for developing a car that can travel 102 miles per gallon of fuel. The gas-efficient vehicle reportedly weighs 830 pounds. Photos below:
