You know, if we play our cards right, we could turn a steady economic boom into free parking year-round! This morning, a press release from the City of Charlottesville announced that free parking in the Water Street and Market Street parking garages would extend through Sunday, December 27.
"Take this opportunity to let us cover your parking Downtown," offers the press release. "…[A]nd enjoy our signature shops, remarkable restaurants and extraordinary events this holiday season." The release goes on to encourage local residents to "Shop Charlottesville." Will you wrap my gifts after I purchase them, Charlottesville?
