Indiana gets the kick-off at the 15 yard line and returns if for 13 to their own 28. 1st and 10 Indiana hand-off for 4 tackle by Brandon Woods. Indiana’s QB hands off for a loss of 2 on the play. Tackle was made by Steve Greer for the Hoos. 3rd and 8 for Indiana at the 30 with 10 15 to play and and amazingly lucky catch by Terrance Turner for Indiana. 19 yard gain. Indiana hands off for not much gain and there is a holding call on the Hoosiers. 1st and 20 for the Hoosiers and a five yard gain up the middle on a run. 2nd and 14 and the QB was rushed, incomplete pass. Flag on the play, another holding call on Indiana. UVA declines the penalty and Indiana has a 3rd and 14 coming up. The Hoosiers, desperate for a big play complete a nice gain of 27 yards. 1st and 10 Hoosiers and they lose 2 yards on the carry by Tandon Doss. 2nd and 12 for the Hoosiers and the pass is complete to Doss for a gain. 3rd and 5 for Indiana and Ben Chappel gets hammered by the pass rush, and the pass is incomplete. 4th down and Indiana goes for a field goal, and it’s NO GOOD. UVA takes over with the ball on their own 23. Sewell in the shot-gun hands off to Simpson for a gain of 2. Virginia has an injured player down and it does not look like Mikell Simpson is moving at all. The crowd is almost totally silent. There is 6:38 to play in the 3rd quarter and UVA has the ball on their own 25 yard line. Torrey Mack carries the ball for a loss of two. 2nd and goal from the six and Mack carries for a 4 yard gain to the 2 yard line. 3rd and goal, Sewell calls his own number and scores the TD. UVA leads 43-0 The extra point is good and UVA leads 44-0! A 77 yard scoring drive that saw Simpson taken to the hospital.

The ball is on the 30 of Indiana and 2nd and five for the Hoosiers has Ben Chappel overthrowing #1 Terrance Turner on the right sideline. 3rd and 5 Chappel throws complete to Belcher. 1st down for Indiana. 1st and 10 the half-back carries for 6 to the 41 yard line. 2nd and 5 Doss makes the completion. 1st and 10 Indiana as the 3rd quarter expires. UVA leads 44-0 as we enter the 4th quarter. Sewell is 20-30 for 308 yards in the game.
The 4th quarter begins with Indiana having the ball at their own 47 yard line. 1st and 10 Indiana Chappel throws complete to Belcher for a gain of 4. 2nd and 10 Chappell throws incomplete over the middle under heavy duress. 3rd and 6 for Indiana Chappell is nearly sacked and throws incomplete in the left flat. Indiana will have to punt the ball back to UVA, and the punt heads into the end-zone for a touch-back.

Randolph on to kick the 31 yard attempt, and the kick is good. 47-0 Hoos lead!!! 10 plays 66 yards that used more than four minutes of clock on this drive for the Wahoos.

A 56 yard return for the Hoosiers. 1st and 10 Indiana Chappell hands off to #3 Davis-Walker. 2nd and 6 Chappell throws complete to #88 Belcher and their might be a late hit coming on the Hoos. Yep, unnecessary roughness gets Indiana to the 12 yard line. 1st and 10 Indiana runs the ball in for the touchdown. Bryan Payton scored the TD. The extra point is good and the score is now UVA 46 Indiana 7.
Virginia gets the ball on the kick-off and it looks like a squib kick is coming. Lavonte Battle gets the ball on the kick-off and gets nine yards to the UVA 41. 1st and 10 for UVA and the snap is high but Verica falls on it. Loss of 10 on the play. 2nd and 20 for the Hoos, and Verica hands off to Max Milien on the cary for a gain of 7 on his first carry ever. 3rd and 14 for the hoos and another carry by # 36 Milien for a loss of two. Brings up 4th and 15 for the Hoos and a new punter is in the game. Nathan Rathjen it 53 yards to the 10 of Indiana.

Ball at the 14 yard line brings up 3rd and 7 and a big pass play gets Indiana a 13 yard gain. 1st and 10 Indiana and Payton carries for a gain of 3. 2nd and 7 Payton carries the ball for a gain of 4. 3rd and 3 for the Hoosiers sees a time-out call. 3rd and 3, Indiana runs the counter for a gain of 5 for a first down. 1st and 10 for Indiana and a run up the middle gets 3. 2nd and 7 Indiana gives Payton the ball for a gain of 6. 3rd and 1 on the Indiana 47 yard line sees a pass go incomplete. 4th 1 and Indiana will punt the ball again! Minnifield gets a nice return on the punt for Virginia. The big play is negated by a 15 yard penalty on Virginia.
