Girls gone wild…with art

The Ani Difranco gig at The Paramount Theater was a stellar one for all parties involved (except for the girls two rows in front of me who allegedly tried to bootleg the set). Opening act Chad Stokes trotted out a Bob Ross look and a few catchy songs, the Difranco dudes and dames cheered on their hero and, frankly, it was good to hear shouting and spot dancing during a gig in The Paramount. Live vicariously through your blogger’s photos from the show.

A few other announcements:

A late First Fridays addition: Derriere de Soie will host a reception for the art of the elusive and exotic Sharon Shapiro from 5:30-8pm. The title? "Painting Sexy." Swoonsville.

And for those of you who know enough to follow Feedback’s tweets, you may’ve heard that Black Flag founder/guitarist Greg Ginn is coming to town on March 11. The venue? Keep it secret, keep it safe.

We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
